To the hundreds of folks who belong to this community, you know what this gallery is all about. To the rest of the world, I'll explain....
It's nice to have a gallery that the only criteria is that you add something new to it every day. It can be of anything. The reason I wanted to join this community was because I am so random in my shooting habits. I can't wait to see what ends up in my gallery after a few months of this. Thanks for checking it out. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoy snapping!

Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > Morning after the first snow, such that it was. This shot is from Crooked Lane looking north east across the Wilkie Farm Lands.
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > The edge of the woods at sunset. This is a single exposure with blur effect done in-camera. Then brought into editing for slight color saturation.
We got some snow last night! I'm heading out for sunrise snow pictures! Hope you're all having a great week end!
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > The color quest continues....A little pile of color, safe and protected, under the Japanese Maple
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > The search for color continues....This was taken down at Little Quitticas, my sunrise spot. The sun had just come up and at that point, was only illuminating the orange grasses in the water.
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > Keeping up with my search for color....
I threw the sky, brush and red berried background out of focus.
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > Emma and I did a little photo shoot. This shot was her idea as she wanted something "Twilighty". I gave it an in-camera spin and then I had a little PP fun.
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > Emma and I took a walk down to Elder's Pond to watch the sunset. There were so many contrails in the sky. We guessed it was a result of so many people getting back home from the long week end. It made for some very artistic strokes in the clouds.
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > With the holiday season officially here, I know I'll be craving the simplicity and peacefulness of mornings like this one. Happy Holidays!
I put up a new gallery of water droplet shots....a fun, little side trip if you're interested~ http://hocusfocusd70.smugmug.com/Nature/Droplets/10446731_aXYPa#724631876_APjFy
Donna Leombruno (hocusfocusd70) > November has got to be the worst month for a nature photographer, coming off the heels of September and October. I'm still always on the look-out for color, though. It's out there, sometimes subtle like yesterday's door shot and other times hiding in plain sight, like this. In this image, I especially like the indigo in the middle.
Have a great day!
