I was originally on my way to Plymouth Harbor again for sunrise when I shot this. There was thick, heavy fog in some of the lower areas and everywhere else had nothing. I came up over a hill and was seduced by a beautiful blanket of fog just hanging there. I decided I'd do a little fog shooting instead. So much for Plymouth. The fog blanket that I saw was unfortunately looming over the low ground of the exit system of the highway. No pictures were happening there. I had to drive to find something that would be worth shooting. I knew there was a cool swamp up ahead that might be just the place. Oh well... Not much in the fog department but, the sun had just risen and was illuminating only the top half of the tree line, including the tall ones in the foreground. I got honked at a few times for being pulled over on a "highway". Hey, I had my blinker on!
A note of thanks to all of you that put two of my Dailies in the #1 spot, two days in a row even! Thank you. It gives me a little lift, for sure. With the energy and enthusiasm I devote to my photography, I really enjoy knowing that others enjoy it, too. Or even look at it, for that matter!
