I've had my eye on this barn/tree combination since I first noticed it a few weeks ago. Yesterday, when I was on my way to shoot a new sunrise spot, I noticed the sliver moon. I wondered if by any chance, it just might be lined up with the barn and the tree. I decided to take the back road and check it out. Boy, was I happy I did. It was the shot I'd been holding out for. This 15 sec exposure was shot about an hour before sunrise, basically in the dark. I used an old wooden fence post as a tripod.
